They and people posted pics of snow and sleet and ice that fell this morning. Maps and reports available too. Like with any marginal borderline areas, one spot might be seeing ice, another nearby spot rain or mix snow/rain.

A Delicate balance when your hovering the freezing line border

Really cool to see such a difference in weather only a few miles apart! Personally, really happy we got just rain at my house...hoping for the same result tomorrow night. This is the third time they've forecasted snow/ice and we've ended up with just rain, so let's go for number 4!
Yeah, apparently that border was very, very close to my house...lol. I live a few miles east / NE of the Buckhead area.

Saw sleet at 7 AM when I woke up. Traffic suddenly slowed down as well. Now its just rain. I live 100 ft from ground level, if that makes any difference.

Looks like this thread will slowly be fading away.. While The deepest Arctic air is done for most, the cold arctic air will continue..

Like the energizer bunny..... Still going & going & going....

Euro says only 2 of next 10 days go above freezing here (normal max is 40s). And notice it's when a storm moves in.

This is nuts. GFS goes couple days further. We're going to mid March guys maybe longer staying below normal and most below freezing..

Saw that Florida farmers flew helicopters over the crops to keep wind on the crops for less chance of freezing.

Seems like we'll finally go above freezing next week. Even though we'll still be markedly below average; average high in March here is supposed to be 5 degrees C, which I don't think is going to happen any time soon

Nice to see a map with Canada there. Gives a full perspective on what the weather's been doing and where the cool & warmth are centered.

Ice floes on the New York Harbor. Got a good view driving past it along the East River/Harbor last weekend.
