Addicts should be given the chance to get clean and if they fail, they should be executed.

Can we include the greedy?? We could start an entire new election. Or wait, some of them might not pass the addiction test.

Exactly! Besides, if we did those who failed to stay clean, we wouldn't have any of the Iron Man movies, because Robert Downey Junior failed several times before it stuck.

But I can rep you! And I agree. I'd love to have that option here as well.

It sounds like Singapore would be more to your liking.

It seems like these threads die out because everyone comes to a consensues. In this case, that we need to end the Drug War.

Our politicians and media obviously are leaving us out to dry on this issue. What can we do to push forward?

Well, people complain about crappy politicians and then vote for the same politicians.

One of my favorite facts is that while the approval ratings for legislature hover around 10%, approval ratings for individual representatives by their constituents remains high.

So basically - These politicians suck!.. Except for my guy.

I get what your saying.

I think the 1st goal would be to unify as a populace on the issue. I believe there are some issues that all sides could get behind if it was the right legislation.

Maybe was as people should start drafting our own legislation and if there's enough support, force politicians to sign it into law or we will boycott their vote.
