Wonder how many neighbors decided this morning "That's it - we're outta here."?

With both Krasner and Pittsburgh mayoral candidate Ed Gainey winning primaries in solid blue cities, I wonder how many conservative Pennsylvanians are thinking the same thing.

This should excite the new Kensingtonians and make them feel part of the city.

Wow. More shootings this weekend, and nothing on the crime thread.
I'm surprised.

Clearly targeted... sitting in a parked white Mercedes.

But whatever business these people are involved in has spread throughout the entire city, and clearly no regard for where any of this takes place. A block from Head House Square is not good.

But lets remember, Philadelphia is by no means alone in this problem, NYC had some recent murders and violent attacks in various part of Manhattan. Portland, OR homicides up 800% from 2019. Literally everywhere is awful right now.

Not trying to minimalize the disturbing crimes here, but its good to read the news in other major cities to balance the view. I just hope Philadelphia gets a handle on this sooner rather than later.

Sometimes I take a break from the news for a few days (everyone should), but Philadelphia hit 200 homicides on Sunday and 15 shot last weekend. :/

And the Inquirer hasn't seen fit to report on this incident.
