I know if I saw outlaw bikers doing something illegal in my neighborhood, unless it affected me or my family directly, I wouldn't be out front to have them prosecuted. It's a good way to get yourself seriously injured.
So I can understand people not wanting to get involved.

But, these creep criminals sometimes have somebody that wants to get them back for whatever reason ... anonymous tips or even going to the law and talking with the promise of not being outed helps lead detectives in the right direction. Lotta them wind up in prison that way.

People like revenge and people like to talk.

No real news coverage, no protests, no nothing. Our society has become so hypocritical, it is incredible. I guess black lives only matter if they're not poor or if a police officer is involved (not even necessarily in the wrong).

Part of why I am frustrated with the far left lately. Hypocritical selfish mess. Police officers are now scapegoats.

Examples in Philadelphia:

Police shoot and kill armed and dangerous man in West Philadelphia - Results in "calls for justice" and mass looting in West & North Philadelphia...

Philadelphia police Sgt. James O'Connor shot and killed serving a warrant to a violent drug ring criminal: Crickets....

An innocent (white) man walking his dog was brutally murdered by two black men: Crickets.... per the far left "its a broken system, therefore these men resort to violence", so essentially the guy walking his dog had it coming. And the murderer had a violent criminal history, why was he free on the streets? (I still think about that story from time to time).

I understand circumstances vary, but the one-sided hypocritical viewpoints are frustrating, violent crime is off the charts, yet crickets from everyone (including leaders) unless the violent crime involves a police officer shooting someone (which is rare).

Health Commissioner Thomas Farley resigned today. The MOVE bombing was among the most unfortunate events in Philadelphia history, and the cremation and disposal of victims remains (by Thomas Farley) is horrible.

But it is interesting that this is what warrants a statement from our DA Larry Krasner, and reliable Helen Gym and Darrell Clarke.

https://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/20...-move-bombing/

I rarely hear these animated statements regarding crime, violence, poverty, etc.

District Attorney Larry Krasner reacted to the discovery.

“The city’s statement about how the remains of Philadelphians killed in one of the worst acts of police violence in American history were quietly destroyed, with no notice to surviving family members, is shocking. Our shame and grief on the 36th anniversary of the day Philly became known as the city that bombed itself is raw again; our collective responsibility to reconcile and repair is more urgent than ever,” Krasner said in a statement.

City Councilmember Helen Gym called Farley’s actions “shameful and unacceptable.”

“The sins of our racist history continue to be perpetuated on grieving and traumatized communities, and apologies alone are not enough. On the 36th anniversary of the MOVE Bombing, we must commit to a process of reparations for the family and the community of West Philadelphia, who continue to grieve and continue to be traumatized by the actions of our city,” Gym said in a statement.

Philadelphia City Council President Darrell L. Clarke says learning of this incident is “profoundly and deeply disturbing.”

It's a challenge right now.

My wife, who is left, is even questioning herself. Ity's gotten to the point where if you stick up for the cops, even mention the fact that 90% of the gun violence involves black young men in gangs, bring up the fact that socialism doesn't work and that vilence should be punished severly, you're considered a racist right-winger. The new progressive movement is as bad as the trumpers.

I understanbd that the pendulum swings and all that. But the stupidity on both ends of the spectrum is unbelievable these days

Where are these strong words in regards to the fact that 5 times that amount of people have been gunned down in the streets in less than 5 months?

The MOVE bombing was atrocious. The ongoing issue of philly violence is too. Doncha think, Helen? Larry?

Best news of the year because his face sickened me with all his press conferences about what is still shutdown and why its shutdown. The CDC news along with his resignation makes me want to celebrate with a seafood dinner
