Reports saying kids are attacking the homeless in Kensington. This keeps up, the corner dealers will defend the homeless addicts, retaliate and violence will escalate.

I see a lot of blm posters in those neighborhoods ... And I'm pretty sure the majority voted for the current loser administration. So ... 'That's a shame.'

The ATV situation is a problem... it is not unique to Philadelphia.

I wonder what other cities are doing to correct the problem?

To be fair though... South St. has ALWAYS been loud and if you live within a block of that rents are actually pretty affordable because of the noise is known and has been for eons.

Once you are about a block and a half south or north of south st though the noise and rowdiness declines rapidly.

The signs attached to the poles about excessive noise emanating from vehicles are there just for show.

The powers-that-be should have started enforcing the noise ordinance laws decades ago. But I guess they didn't want to stir up the community. I mean, they're already murdering thousands of them a year ... Why take their noise away from them, too?

Being soft on quality of life crimes is never a good idea. Look what we have now ...

Am I the only one who thinks siting at a table in the street or even at one right at the curb is a bad idea? Just from a safety stand point...let alone crime.

I prefer the sidewalk not the street.

Even the sidewalk leaves no room for driver error.
Personally I'd certainly never sit by by the curb. And I see plenty of tables as I said by the curb even in the street.

I'm not crazy about sitting outside period. But some would say.....by the curb, by the building, inside, or back at home even if you didn't go out...if it's your time it's your time.

Some how I just sitting outside in the street or right at the curb is just asking to get hit.
But that's just my opinion.

Haven't you heard? This is a part of city culture that should be respected and law enforcement should be careful not to infringe on the rights of those expressing themselves.

Once more people with money leave, maybe city council can replace the missing tax dollars with a soda tax. Oh, wait...
