Your train arrives at the station on time (for once!) ... You race to the main street in record time only to see your bus go pass because the freakin' driver has to run early!

Didn't they do an investigation on this type of incident just last week and they said they would fix the problem? That's just not right for them to LEAVE early. I wonder if management did talk with the driver and now he's trying to get even and do paybacks? I'd call the bus company "again" and speak with the manager of operations.

Tonight's incident is a whole different bus company (LA Metro). Funny thing is that I managed to catch this bus yesterday thanks to a fellow passenger who gave me a lift. I actually got into a nice conversation with the driver and told him of my struggles in catching his bus (primarily due to train being late) and he said that he will watch for me ... I was literally preparing to cross the darned street when he pulled away ... Unfortunately for me, this particular incident is not at a time point so technically, he could leave that stop early as long as he waits at the time point before leaving ... I literally need a car to catch up with him at the time point so I was hoping that he would have watched out for me after our talk yesterday. It's just so aggravating how there is no leeway time to catch that bus after spending 1.5 hours commuting via train. Having to wait an additional 30 minutes is too much but I just need to put my IPOD on and chill. Nothing else I can do.
BTW: The bus driver from last week (OCTA) is still departing from the station early from what I've observed ... The investigation is supposed to take at least a week I'm just grateful that my coworker is transporting me in the mornings and soon, my schedule will change where I won't have to deal with that driver.
Gotta go buy another Chinese POS window ac cuz things are built like crap today. I wonder how much it costs them to build one, I'll bet they make a huge profit.

Have you ever heard of a "swamp cooler"?
They work pretty good, fewer parts to break and no chemicals, just water.
