You know that would be awesome. I don't expect someone to run to the back pronto but I think its a matter of curiosity to at least cash it in a somewhat timely manner. I rarely write checks, maybe a few times a year so when I balance my account I'm like wow, why is my account off? Then I remember. Its just an annoyance to me. I was complaining to my mom and she said that my SIL took almost a year to cash a check my mom had written her. Finally my mom called up my SIL and said if she still had the check she would come over and give her cash.

I watched a news report on the telly yesterday talking about the costs to the taxpayer of England's most 'troubled' families. It was put at 120,000 problem families costing over $13 BILLION dollars a year. The report talked of generations of not working, sexual abuse etc.

If you walk through any town in England, you will see them. Loud, obnoxious and stupid.

Governments of every ilk have tried to deal with these people. If you have the misfortune to live near any, then you have a problem.

Their children have no fear of any kind of authority. Police, school, courts.

With all the other problems this country is having to face, these people are the icing on the cake.

I have all my paychecks deposited automatically, there isn't a reason in the world for me to go to a bank anymore. But, I just got a refund check from AARP, I screwed up, and paid my membership dues 2X, and so now I'm facing a $16 refund check, and it will probably take me until the end of summer/early Fall, when it gets cooler, to trudge over to the bank! And if it expires, so what!!! Let's see: subtract gas expense form check, and given how I value time, that comes out to roughtly $5! Is it worth it????

Stress sucks the energy and spirit if its a long term thing. Are we living or just existing? I for one, have been in the just existing mode for many years. If something really good happened I think I'd have energy like a kid again.

Glad you liked it, PickleJuice.

My old cats temp is low again, scares the h.ell outta me when I have one that isnt well.

Heating water in the microwave and when I opened it the bottle broke, it got both my lower legs. That wakes ya right up. I put some aloe vera on it and its helping. Now the microwave wont shut off, the dial has gone insane. When ya shut the door it starts, so I'll have to keep time on it. I like the old style stuff, turn the knob to how many minutes ya want and thats it.
