I'm also seeing more double masking in the grocery store and my apartment complex.
Not sure how you could have locked down any further than you already were...do you confine yourself to one room now? Teasing

Here's a good science article on the South African form of Covid-19 that's been making headlines, and not excessively technical, so quite accessible "South African coronavirus variant: All your questions answered"...

Social circle? What's that?
Simple. Draw a circle on a piece of paper, take a picture, post it to FB.

People in the group chats.

I've been doing the surgical mask under a 3 layer cloth mask with a filter. I have 20 surgical masks left and I'm hoping that can last me until I get the vaccine.

I'm not remotely locked down compared to friends who literally haven't been indoors with a person outside of their household, including the grocery store, since March. That's the life of friends who have transplants and active or recent cancer treatment.

But who cares about stopping a pandemic so people like that can live life again when there's hockey to be played, right? Teasing.

I have a feeling there are plenty of nuts who will feel the need to lock themselves up for a longtime regardless.

People did and are still doing a lot more silly things than hockey.

It seems none of them are taking appointment due to the emergency. I thought 65+ qualify starting Feb 1.

No...Phase 2 has in fact started as of today. However, they're divvying up each Phase into subgroups. Subgroup #1 is 75+. Subgroup #2 is 65+ and individuals with 2+ chronic medical conditions, and so on.

My dear daughter (21 YO and a student) was trying to sign up as she's also a retail worker. She can't get the shot yet but she asked me "hey Daddy - how tall are you and how much do you weight?) I told her and she advised me that if I were an inch shorter, my BMI would qualify me along with my asthma.

Thanks sweetie.
