They did mention in the press briefing that restaurants are not seen as a contributor to the rise in cases.
The stay home advisory seems both odd and ignorable.

The order, as written, doesn't seem enforceable. However, LEOs supposedly are a cornerstone to general 'law & order' so their compliance ...or lack of ... to state issued orders sets a rather poor standard for the general public. And no, I don't want LEOs engaging in mask compliance activities outside of individuals not complying to policies of a private business/entity.

6 foot distance for masks has been removed. If you are in public, you need a mask regardless of distance.

Gov did say "closing schools last spring was probably a bad idea. Schools aren't linked to the spread".

It does seem that they are being very aggressive in trying to counter in-home parties and gatherings. That seems to be the big target here. Not schools, not restaurants. Gov wants people to go home, not go hang with their friends on a Sat night.

The cynic in me thinks there is some civil unrest mitigation baked into these orders, though actually enforcing them is another issue all together.

Gov was asked this directly and based on his answer I get the impression it's more of a tool to break up late-night parties by "asking" people to go home and if it becomes a recurring problem, use a fine to enforce it on those parties. It will be enforced by local communities.

Really not getting a sense this is saying you can't be out on the roads after 10PM. Really getting the sense that this is really targeted to younger people having parties. The entire press conference gave me that impression.

The daily dashboard will be revamped, starting today. New metric, "case growth per age group" will be added. Dashboard update will move from 4PM to 5PM

They did mention in the press briefing that restaurants are not seen as a contributor to the rise in cases. They seem to be targeting small in-home gatherings. Half of all cases are under age 39

And to add to this

“What we should not do to deal with these trends is shut down our economy, or close our schools to deal with this,” Baker said. “Schools are not spreaders here, or anywhere else. It’s been proven now – over and over and over again – by real life experience and longitudinal studies.”

Then open them up. Many kids stuck in distance learning hell. It's a disgrace.

Casinos have to close by 9:30p, just like restaurants. The restrictions aren't going to do much IMO.

Closed after 9:30pm. I'd love to know how data is driving the time windows, if at all.
