They took the oath, they need to follow through. If you can't protect and serve, find another line of work.

Apparently some of them are. Not sure what taking a vaccine has to do with taking an oath to be a cop either. Did we worry about who got a flu shot? Nope.

The oath to take orders from above and uphold and follow laws is somehow exempt in this instance?

Some good news

"Children aged 5 to 11 can begin to be vaccinated against Covid-19 within the next day or two after an expert panel advising the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended Tuesday that Pfizer’s pediatric vaccine should be used in this age group.

The recommendation, which passed by a 14-0 vote, was approved a couple of hours later by CDC Director Rochelle Walensky."

Yes, in some professions. Yes. It is mandatory for some workers. Flu also causes, yearly, 10x less the deaths on the worst years.

Honestly I don’t think people are going to have their young ones lined up for this shot the way I thought they would. I talked to a pharmacist the other night who said her kids aren’t getting it right away. She said at this point she doesn’t see the point.

It’s just interesting how everyone in the world will have the choice to vaccinate their kids who are thought to be the super spreaders but adults can lose their job if they don’t get it.

I'll get the kiddo's vaccinated, just not yet. I delayed my own shot and will likely hold for a bit with the kids. I just prefer to let others go first and sit back and observe. Wife got her booster yesterday. Pfizer booster on top of the J&J.

sounds like that is what a lot of people plan to do-watch other kids get it first.

My mom got some booster shot the other day at the same time as a flu shot and was telling us about it on halloween. Her and my aunt are both nurses in their 60's and started arguing about my mom's choice in doing this. It was brief but I laughed. Fun times.

I was in salem over halloween. The mayor wanted a pcr test for any gathering of 100+ for inside a building...yeah that probably didn't happen. I saw plenty with masks and without but they did limit the number that could go into the buildings.

I have to say though that the binax test can be a pain. It took THREE HOURS to get results online mostly because their servers were having issues. I had to talk to maybe nine people again and again. I rather just get the normal free tests and wait.
