Ah sometimes forecasts change. Looks like Thursday thru Saturday are now "only" (since it's still above normal) going to be in the 50s and Friday has rain.

But back to 60 on Sunday and near 70 on Monday.....the "warm train" rolls on.....

But it all evens out somewhat globally......I think March snow in Seattle and especially Portland (Oregon, not Maine obviously) is pretty rare too:

I think hemisphere wise…it all does even out in the end. Some areas get warmer than normal temps and others see cooler than normal temps.

However, the PNW is well known for its crappy weather (overcast, cool, stormy, low sun hrs…etc). While we enjoy 60’s this week, they will be stuck in the low 40’s. You might remember much of the West Coast above northern CA had a gloomy, cool, spring and summer last year (even southern CA had a cool summer last year, but it got better by Aug - Oct) - and if predictions are right they are in for another lousy spring:

We actually had some steady rain for a little while early this morning, and I see more showers forecast for Friday and Saturday. At least we're getting a little bit of precip. And I saw daffodils blooming in some areas yesterday, maybe in another week or so mine will be blooming. Funny how I didn't see any robins until last week, now I am seeing them everywhere.

Looks like ANOTHER blown forecast from the NWS Gray, ME. I really don't think they care about forecasting for their NH counties. Oh, one hint of cooler weather on the GFS by day 15-16. ROFL!

It feels like it's getting humid, and I saw that NW Ct. has a small chance of getting a t'storm this evening. Totally odd weather! Next thing you know we'll be getting tornado watches this month.
