I stand corrected. There is one more way to pass. Sacrifice your car and make a new 'Darlington Stripe'. Unfortunately it only works in the last several hundred feet 'cause you ain't going much further.

That might change the face of racing.

Was an amazing move that put himself in and Denny out.

Want a prediction though?

If used too many times in the future, Nascar will ban Wall Riding.

And now they are building another at Fontana. NASCAR should just put the gun to their head now.

This talk of a new series is interesting. It wouldn't take much to get it established and overtake some of the NASCAR market. I bet Tony Stewart would make a great member of a board of directors. BTW, kudos to TS for his first outing in Top Alcohol drag racing. He ran an impressive pass.
Ask Ross Chastain if that's the only way to pass.

I'm not a big NASCAR fan, but managed to see this maneuver as I stopped into the local watering hole and watched the end of the race. That guy's got some real guts. He probably figured that he wouldn't need that particular car for the end of the season anyway because it's the last short track race. Might as well do a little bodywork.

I LOVE it when someone finds a legal way to game the system, whatever the sport. Everyone in the bar was going crazy with what he did, especially the big car racing guys. I loved it.

Everyone that has played a racing game has wondered if riding the wall would actually work. Today, Ross Chastain answered that question.
