I watched 2 interviews with Joe bottom line is they are going to be doing a lot of walking and talking.
I hate to say it but watching Joe reminded me a little bit of watching another Joe.
I saw JJ is buying a piece of Petty. Good for him. Always a class act.
So happy to have JJ back where he belongs, in NASCAR. I always felt that he was "owner" material and this is a huge first step.
Petty GMS is about to take a huge surge forward. With them getting Noah and now JJ, the possibilities are endless! Trackhouse has set the bar of what a smaller team can do.
7 time Johnson together with 7 time Petty. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!!

Thats wild, never saw that coming. Little surprised that he is doing something outside of Hendrick. Will be interested to hear more on how it all came about. Petty was already a team I was looking forward to rooting for in 23.

Well, there's only so many pieces they can split Hendrick into. Rick has at least one kid left (Seriously, he lost alot in the plane crash) and then Gordon..
Once you get too many owners running their mouths, things go to hell. Rick's smart enough to know this.
I'm just.. Kinda surprised JJ wanted to go into ownership in NASCAR. Good for him.
Maybe JJ bought out Bubbas share of Petty/GMS. The rumor was Petty offered Bubba a part of the company to stay, but Bubba said he already had a part of it. Maybe he lost it when he went to drive for 23XI?

Petty/GMS is a different team from RPM.
But as i recall, he just declined the ownership offer.
I'm going with my guy and the #9 team. Chase has proven to be fast all year and does well at PHX.
I'm a little concerned that Joey could snag it. He's the only driver in this list that has been in the most final 4's. Punching his ticket early as he did gave him and his team time to really focus on this race. So his fifth try could be the one.
Christopher Bell has gotten hot at the right time. He had has back against the wall twice and now he may be ready to take home the trophy.
Watermelon man Chastain, the driver heard around the world, is just not quite ready to pounce on this opportunity. There are still too many drivers pissed at him and will race him hard Sunday. Of course, we just never know what Ross has hidden in his sleeve. It's entirely possible to ride the wall at Phoenix.
XFININTY
Noah Gragson - Chevy, JR Motorsports
Justin Allgaier - Chevy, JR Motorsports
Josh Berry - Chevy, JR Motorsports
Ty Gibbs - Toyota. Joe Gibbs Racing
It's Noah's to lose. He's won the most races this year, has a CUP ride for next year. If he can keep from puking in his helmet, he should win the title.
Second place goes to Justin Allgaier. I believe was runnerup in 2020. Has lot of experience and raced the Dinger hard to get into the final 4.
Josh has also done well this year, tied with Justin in wins with 3. Great person, just not sure if its his time.
I think Ty is going to have a hard time Sunday. At his age, I don't think he can control the emotional rollercoaster that he started due to his actions. The other three he's up against, would want nothing more to give JRM a 1-2-3 finish as well as give back some karma from their future JRM teammate Brandon Jones.
PS: I don't follow Truck so fill free to add your predictions for that title.
here's what I like about this.. We've got 4 cars from 4 different teams. We have all three manufacturers represented in the final 4.
We have half the 'field' looking for their first Championship, the other half looking for another (In both cases, their second)
What's really kinda hard to believe here.. Logano is the 'elder statesman' of the group at age 32. Of course.. Remember, he's in his 15th season.
You didn't talk about Trucks.. There we have Ty Majeski, Zane Smith, Ben Rhodes and Chandler Smith
Majeski has caught on fire in the playoffs with 2 wins after pointing in. Chandler Smith, as part of KBM has a worst finish of 21st for the year. Ben Rhodes has been.. Kinda blah and Zane Smith has kinda been the picture of consistency.
Wouldn't surprise me at all for Chandler Smith to win this. But, really, up for grabs. Ben Rhodes is the only one who would really be kinda surprising as he's just.. Been there all year.
