But as i recall, he just declined the ownership offer.
When asked about it he said something like "I already own a portion, I dont need or want more." I destinctively remember him sayuing that.

CUP
  1. Chase Elliott - Chevy, Hendrick Motorsports
  2. Joey Logano - Ford, Penske Racing
  3. Christopher Bell - Toyota, Joe Gibbs Racing
  4. Ross Chastain - Chevy, Trackhouse

I'm going with my guy and the #9 team. Chase has proven to be fast all year and does well at PHX.

I'm a little concerned that Joey could snag it. He's the only driver in this list that has been in the most final 4's. Punching his ticket early as he did gave him and his team time to really focus on this race. So his fifth try could be the one.

Christopher Bell has gotten hot at the right time. He had has back against the wall twice and now he may be ready to take home the trophy.

Watermelon man Chastain, the driver heard around the world, is just not quite ready to pounce on this opportunity. There are still too many drivers pissed at him and will race him hard Sunday. Of course, we just never know what Ross has hidden in his sleeve. It's entirely possible to ride the wall at Phoenix.

XFININTY
  1. Noah Gragson - Chevy, JR Motorsports
  2. Justin Allgaier - Chevy, JR Motorsports
  3. Josh Berry - Chevy, JR Motorsports
  4. Ty Gibbs - Toyota. Joe Gibbs Racing

It's Noah's to lose. He's won the most races this year, has a CUP ride for next year. If he can keep from puking in his helmet, he should win the title.

Second place goes to Justin Allgaier. I believe was runnerup in 2020. Has lot of experience and raced the Dinger hard to get into the final 4.

Josh has also done well this year, tied with Justin in wins with 3. Great person, just not sure if its his time.

I think Ty is going to have a hard time Sunday. At his age, I don't think he can control the emotional rollercoaster that he started due to his actions. The other three he's up against, would want nothing more to give JRM a 1-2-3 finish as well as give back some karma from their future JRM teammate Brandon Jones.

PS: I don't follow Truck so fill free to add your predictions for that title.
Cup - Switch Logano and Chase, and swit ch Bell and Chastian although I would lovwe to see watermelons flung all over Phoenix!

X - I think youre dead on, but I would like to see Joah Berry get it. Crybaby will get the fender I suspect.

.
I just finished reading quotes from Jr hes concerned about Myer taking out Gibbs, he told the 4 of them they are going to win the thing and walk out of there with their heads held high, but he plans on talking to them again.

I'm just.. Kinda surprised JJ wanted to go into ownership in NASCAR. Good for him.
Agreed, you have mentioned before who is going to take the helm of all these organizations after their 80+ year old owners hang it up.
Now we are starting to see the next gen come in... Stewart, Gordon, Hamlin, Keselowski, now Johnson and Jr still talking about it. We'll see what Harvick does. Wouldn't be surprised to see Stewart leave. Crazy!
Jr/Kelly still trying to figure out the charter dilemma. Speaking of... the fix for that is, NASCAR needs to add a Charter, maybe 2. That will in effect bring the price back down to reality and help bring fresh blood into the sport. Thats really the only way they are going to make it so the price of them is not prohibitive.

I think the Johnson deal is pretty cool he could really help elevate that team much in the Kurt helped 23xi and Brad is doing with Roush.

Let the trash talking begin... Noah Gragson labeled the xfinity championship 4, "Three and a half men"

I still say Bell for cup.

I like Noah for X. Kid actually has some personality.

Ben Rhodes for trucks. Just as a wild card.

Bell can certainly pull it off. That will take any heat left off Bubba that's for sure.

I think the heat came off Bubba when Bell won last week.

Ross Chastain also change the headlines out there.

Bubba got a little lucky on both.

This year it just seems like any one of the four can win it, like no one has a clear edge.

Such as Kyle Larson's victory after his very dominant year.

It's going to come down like last year...a late caution...pit crew gets a driver out first...he holds everyone off.
