Usually there are no clouds under a ridge but I guess the exception is that its October. (Cooler surface makes clouds?)

New Euro. Fall finally arriving!!

5000' Temp anomalies Friday to Friday. This Friday last day above normal then more below normal days than above after that. 2 shots next week? We'll see.

Im glad we're not getting the 80s. Thanks to clouds for today. Tomm another chance.

NWS forecast for NYC. Thursday the last day of this heat. I'll assume tomorrow is for Chicago?

also very humid; sun harder to heat up the surface so the relative humidity is low enough for few clouds? I remember late October heat waves often having lots of clouds, especially in the morning

Got a new scope today and even that won't bring me rain or a hurricane. If the storm was just 100 miles more to the east.

Hurricane Michael and its remnants expected to soak the Eastern US. Hurricane Warnings in Florida and Georgia. Tropical Storm Warnings extend into South Carolina, which is still reeling from Florence.
