It can be nice to have warm breaks in winter and early spring / late fall. As long as they're not accompanied by heavy rain.

People seem so short-sighted on the weather they're having. A few cold days and everyone is moaning about the climate, completely forgetting the very warm March they had, the record breaking warm December, and the above average January.

A line of thunderstorms narrowly went around me today, just like they did in March.

The way I saw it this winter was just a small form of payback we got after the disasters of 13/14 and 14/15. Meanwhile there are parts of the United States that have not seen negative anomalies since the first half of 2013 and you could see how it's frustrating when the west coast is bathing in 60s and 70s in the middle of ****ing January while youre freezing your ass off in the teens and twenties in April

I care more about April than the other months — April can have actual green growth, and even above average winter weather is chillier than I'd like. I would have been happier with a somewhat colder winter and more snow and a warm April.

I just don't get all the comments about how much of a "fail" North America is because of a few cold days, while ignoring all the above-average weather that has occurred over the last several months.

I can understand why cold weather in April is frustrating, but to call a climate a "fail" because of it especially after a good amount of time spent above normal the last few months, seems short-sighted.

Because one interferes with the growing season after it's been bare for more months. Average weather now is warmer than most of the above average weather this winter; it's the time of year when consistent 60°F days are possible and it's not happening. Fail is hyperbole; but many here look forward to spring. A delay is aggravating. Above average weather in winter isn't the same

Yeah but that is what is causing all the problems with things blooming too early and being heavily damaged. They said even some fruit trees bloomed in December, then got very cold again, and then the warm March and now this. Is just crazy what they have been through given this up and down winter.
