STRATUS CONCERNS AGAIN ON SUN. IF THE CLOUDS GET LOCKED IN SAT
NGT...THEY SHOULD BE DIFFICULT TO ERODE AS THERE WILL BE
REINFORCING ELY FLOW AND SUBSIDENCE WILL BE VERY WEAK WITH THE
CENTER OF THE HIGH STILL OVER THE MARITIMES. AS RESULT...BUMPED UP
CLOUDS TO MOSTLY CLOUDY IN THE MRNG AND AT LEAST PARTLY CLOUDY IN
THE AFTN. BY LATE IN THE DAY...MID AND HIGH CLOUDS WILL BEGIN
OVERSPREADING THE CWA FROM THE SW. THE RAIN LOOKS TO HOLD OFF TIL
SUN NGT.
THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...UNSETTLED WEATHER RETURNS WITH THE
APPROACH OF YET ANOTHER SHORT WAVE IN THE NORTHERN STREAM OF THE
POLAR JET FOLLOWED BY A SLOWER WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE MOVING NE ALONG
THE SOUTHERN BRANCH OF THE SUBTROPICAL JET STREAM.
