Never mind, not terribly impressed with 12Z model run, just slightly less blowtorch like for along and after mid-month.

Just played the loop. It's like WTF are the only words I know lately. WTF! I do like that Blizzard for Mid West in 2 weeks. lol Unreal pattern. At least last year we had November to get excited about. Zip this year. Zip. WTF!

Here's the current setup right now above us. Nice to see a forsaken Ridge in the west...weak.. but gees, STAY THERE YOU BASTARD! LOL

That trough is moving East. Heads up Kentucky, 850mb Freezing line coming with it. Should be chilly in couple days there?

But more importantly.. Storms are cutting to the Great Lakes , a NO NO for the East as it rains and warms up like that. STOP CUTTING!! Snow for Plains and Mid West with a track like that.

Thanks to that Upper Low moving East, it will bring the trough into the Northeast as well. But guess what... Ba Bye. Warm up we go.

The real Polar Jet is still well north in Canada.

Here, compare that map above with this one. Look where the Upper Low is... NOT over the Plains! New England.

December was warm last year BUT AT LEAST WE HAD THIS HAPPEN ONCE.

there's no "storm" around here at the surface, it's snowing because of the Upper Level Storm. :-)

High of 75 F today. Ended up 2 degrees lower than forecast due to high cloud cover. Tomorrow will be the last day above 70 F for a while. The rest of my 10 day has highs in the 60s and lows in the 30s/40s.

Folks in Ohio had a warmer day on June 1st than today Dec 1st.

A Nor'Easter next week without the cold? Maybe. I believe the no cold more than the storm itself.

This would bring 45-50mph gusts to the coast, wind swept rains,
