High yesterday was 69 F. So far, I've managed to go the entire month of January without hitting 70 F (last time I did was New Year's Eve). If I stay below 70 F today, I'll be in the running for at least another week.

Asheville, NC would be best. He wouldn't have to go far to see the occasional sub 0 F weather on the Mount Mitchell summit.

Raleigh more snow than here?

Canadian says snowing there tomorrow. Light. Heaviest precip off shore. This would be afternoon so surface wont be "cold". Red line is freezing line at 2500' so it's below freezing at that level but notice where the thin blue line is (32F) north of Virginia.

So basically its above freezing at the surface at this time but below freezing from 2500' up

Man, Pattern is so ripe still for a big one. Just about timing that's all and positioning of course.

Canadian says perfect timing next Saturday 7 days from today... Storm comes from Gulf and moves up with interaction with the cold air.

The snowfall total result from that run... Ridiculous. LOL!!!
