It appears to be moving SSW from off of the sound, don't know if that'd count as sound-influence or ocean-influence since it's all the same basin.

You live in eastern North America. Your area shouldn't be growing any tender plants or palm trees as your zone is more like eastern Europe than a subtropical climate. The years of mild winters are over. There is no cold epoch. This is what North America does every single winter. Even El Nino can't beat the PNA when a ridge sets up over there.

Kinda disappointing to be honest. I at least wanted both me and Savannah to drop into the upper 20s, but that's very hard to come by with a NE wind flow, even if the 850 temps are very cold.
