So, when is this pattern going to break and milder air return. Spring break is in a little over a week...
Spring break? In February? That said, there's not been the slightest sign of a pattern break (as opposed to 1-3 day interludes) as far as the forecast models can foresee, which is through the first week of March. Personally, I believe mid to late March is the earliest a warm pattern might take hold, and probably not until April or later.
I saw 161614Z observation temp/dew pt was M13/M24 wind was 31014g24kt
There was no regular 161651z obs that is routine....
Next obs was 161751z and wind was calm and temp/dew pt was M01/M20 then up to 00 at the next hour and calm wind still
So likely a fan and/or something else went on.
Concord ob is now offline, this morning as of a couple hours ago.

GFS shows a weakening of the cold pattern in early March. Still below average but not as extreme but less of a strong arctic air flow, more of a west-east flow. Another rainstorm is forecast for California that week.
57F high for me tomorrow...I bet your low is much lower than my 40F though...
