2 teens arrested for Brighton Heights funeral shooting both accused of prior shootings

“Something’s wrong with our system when we have people that can continually go outside and perpetrate more violent crimes…I’m tired of going out to these scenes and seeing what I’m seeing and everybody else looking back at us as it’s a problem we can solve alone. We can’t. We’re a part of the solution. We are not the entire solution,” said Cmdr. Richard Ford.
Two teenagers shot up a church last week during a funeral. One of them was charged with the shooting inside of Ross Park Mall last year - charged as a juvenile, case dismissed even though gun residue was on his hands. Even prior to that, he had been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm: he served 7 months of a 10-23 month sentence.

The other one was previously charged as a juvenile with aggravated assault after firing a weapon into a group of people!!

THIS is what you get when you vote for soft-on-crime, bleeding-heart liberals. The system is utterly broken and has FAILED to protect society from these animals. My kid or his mom couldve been killed in Ross Park Mall when they opened fire.

But the liberals will blame MY guns for the violence in the streets, instead of looking in the mirror and blaming their own hug-a-thug policies. The problem of urban gun violence isnt caused by the NRA - its caused by the Democratic Party. Instead of passing NEW gun laws that only mess with the rights of law-abiding citizens, how about we sit the heck down and try to actually enforce existing gun laws instead of electing "Progressive" prosecutors and judges who install revolving doors in jail cells for animals like these.. "Catch and release" is something you do with fish, not people shooting other people in public!! The liberals think these monsters are somehow 'victims of society', while refusing to adequately protect society from being victimized from these monsters.

God, you cant help but be super irate after reading this article and plainly seeing how thoroughly our "justice" system is screwing us as a society by coddling these pieces of garbage.

As will racism.

Maybe Republicans should be more open-minded about Roe v Wade - these two animals could be the posterchildren for preserving abortion rights.

Those who want criminals running the streets are themselves criminals. Don't be fooled.

yes, the PA GOP is complicit in the street violence. the refusal to invest in under serviced communities. The refusal to create tougher gun laws. The real difference of why PA has the highest crime in the northeast, is that it's the only state run by Republicans

Lol. With a clown Governor. Dems are the ones defending and enabling criminals. They don’t want capital punishment, life without parole, etc…, and we know how soft on crime Fetterman is yet they want him representing the state. Put the loser violent criminals away for life. There’s already tough gun laws, but folks blame guns versus the violent criminals so they’re spun through the revolving doors of justice to do it again.

Are you including NY in your allegation of highest crime in the northeast? It’s no surprise PA is so high, especially with the cesspool that is Philly, which is a Lib city just like Pittsburgh. The areas reap what they sow…but the social workers will whip these violent criminals right into shape.

you know, if you want to make a convincing argument, maybe naming things we already have that seemingly have no effect on limiting crime isn't the strongest bullet point.

but I know, in the world of Trump's mental illness society, sending more jobs to Texas and China, keeping the retail class poor, and arming everyone to the teeth is the "solution" that will finally put PA on the right track. Oh yeah, also bringing the "coal industry" back, banning abortion, and making sure gays can't get married. That will put PA back on top!

So I will just repeat the truth again: the trailer park ghetto PA GOP is the difference between PA and the rest of the NE. They preside over a large swath of dying PA and are doubling down on why no one wants to live or invest in their towns.

With so little capital punishment and such weak consequences, violent criminals don’t barely have to worry about capital punishment, life without parole, etc… But do tell how many criminals have received capital punishment in the last 5 years, and please be specific?

Lol. Love the deflection and strawman arguments from crime to because Trump. TDS is stronger than ever.

So you’re saying PA has more crime than NY?

When cesspools like Philly exist, skyrocketing violent crime in Pittsburgh, and how we saw the Governor live in fear and cost the state hUUUge amounts of revenue by shutting it down and putting sOOO many businesses out of business and folks out of work, it’s no surprise folks don’t want to invest in towns. I still laugh at the hUUUge amount of revenue lost and folks going to neighboring states to make their purchases, and then Wolf wanted to raise taxes…and let’s not forget Fetterman wants to do the same, is soft on crime, and will continue to be. Sheer brilliance voting for that while complaining about crime and keeping folks in PA to invest in towns…but muh GOP, lol

The democrats have been doing a great job in philly, they should stop collecting all the trash on the street and turn it into a landfill. If you want to fix your great city maybe bring in some of those ghetto trailer park gop boys to run things for awhile.

Bingo…and it’s hilarious how they complain about crime while watching these loser violent criminals continually put back on the streets to do it again.

Philly’s a cesspool. There’s no hope for that dump, and Pittsburgh will continue to get worse while the powers that be cry that something needs done but do nothing about it.
