The plan aims to help foster an environment of safety by enforcing building and zoning codes, cleaning up trash, removing abandoned vehicles, and making general neighborhood improvements with community groups.

I thought i was responsible for the latest gun violence because i own 2 shotguns and a 38. I am relieved to find out it was most likely due to trash in the street.

There’s certainly trash in the street causing skyrocketing crime, but Big Ed, the community leaders, folks that claim to be in the know, etc…, certainly aren’t doing anything about it or anything to help, or it wouldn’t be getting worse…but they certainly continue to try to talk a big game. They must really think folks believe them…but at least they’re interested in helping foster an environment of safety by enforcing building and zoning codes, cleaning up trash, removing abandoned vehicles, and making general neighborhood improvements with community groups… though the economy and crime are the 2 biggest issues amongst voters.

Dodged a bullet on that one, but you still own multiple guns which is frowned upon even though they’re owned and used responsibly.

People get the mayor they deserve. They thought Peduto wasn't "woke" enough, so they voted for Gainey. Now they're upset that Gainey has been in office almost a year and hasn't done anything meaningful yet. I predicted this would happen.

I don't recall barely any tent camps in the city, along the rivers, under bridges, etc. with Peduto. Man, Sophie Masloff wouldn't have taken any of this.

hard to say how sophie would have responded.

i wonder about Murphy, actually...i thought he was pretty good, but he and sophie? so lucky to have peaked ('piqued'?) before the insanity of the post-2012 USA, when everything has gotten ridiculous.

you thought the girls' school bathroom is over there, and the boys over there, and it couldnt get more simple than that...? america's most notorious anti-semite is now a black citizen?

aldus huxley couldnt have dreamed up any of this.

Still with the less guns, lol…but at least you’re with more police. If there weren’t criminals police wouldn’t be needed, and if violent criminals were put away for life/capital punishment, there’d be less of them versus dumping them back on the streets to be repeat violent criminals.

Actually three things need to happen. Less guns, more police, better mental healthcare. That is middle of the road realistic policy.
