Mayor Gainey confirms there was intelligence of possible violence at Brighton Heights funeral

Gainey is not a detective. Weak? Get over yourself. All offenders have been caught and the gang is dismantling as we speak. The focus is on Allegheny Commons. The City of Pittsburgh has to put pressure on the property owner. We can all agree that it is a nuisance property. Weak?? Unwarranted.

He’s certainly no detective and nobody said he was. He received the intelligence.

There was intelligence of possible violence before the shooting and he did nothing. Great that they’re rounded up, however, had he done something before it happened folks wouldn’t have suffered injuries.

Did you report this to big Ed and the powers that be? If he already knows, why hasn’t pressure been put on the property owner?

Nah, he’s proven to be weak, especially with the skyrocketing violent crime that continues, and there’s zero reason not to use intelligence before the shooting.

Perhaps if you travelled more, you may recognize that culture plays a part as well. The culture of Mexico is very different than the culture of Iceland which is very different than the culture of the US, which is also VERY different historically than Canada.

Big Ed does nothing with the intelligence of possible violence on the day that 6 people were injured in the shooting, and now he says these folks need off the streets. Don’t expect him to do anything about it but quite the big talk of actually doing something about the violent losers. Interesting to see how this goes over with the defending and enabling criminals folks. Hard to believe that these folks may have finally come to their senses.

Not that I’ve heard, but according to this claim, they’re from the Commons apartment complex in the heart of Allegheny Center, so one would think it should’ve been solved long ago.

The baby murder in downtown, the air bnb mass shooting, the local football coach near the Aviary, all of the cultural district shootings to name a few. All of the residents average 20 years of age and the long time residents disappeared. The drugs in and around that area is in your face. My parents church is near there and I do have concerns considering their brand new Lincoln truck vanished from Allegheny Center and was never found. East Ohio street is ok during the day but at night it transforms into Michael Jackson’s Thriller video.
