Sorry to hear that, I hope she can find something better soon. Nice timing letting people know around the holidays.

Thank you todd! I'm still hoping that her fear is unfounded.

Ya I hope so too Ans57.

Lonely night, my gal went off to get water, and they have power shifts so they lost power for the day too.

Thinking of those idiots fighting over the air jordan tennis shoes and then thinking of all the homeless people from the typhoon that are in shelters now and have no homes to go back to. You wonder how people can be so full of themselves and insensitive to the world around them.

^^ I so agree with you ToddOO those air jordan tennis shoes just don't make any sense and why people are so stupid to pay $450 to $500 bucks for them is insane! That type of waste HAS to stop.

I have too much leftover German chocolate cake... I can't have sweets in the house, it's just too much of a good thing. I may have to toss goodies out and that will hurt.

What a way to start the day. While half asleep and getting a pot of coffee brewing I knocked over the cutting board that was standing on its side against the toaster and fell over on the countertop, bumping the “extra glass coffee carafe” that was sitting out. The carafe then moved towards the far edge of the counter top and toppled over and fell down on the floor. {{{{Kabbbooooom}}}} Broken glass,,, all over the kitchen floor in the dining area that new needs to be cleaned up. Lesson learned when a glass carafe falls to the hard tile floor it will be in pieces “all over” the area and in every corner of the room. Don’t do anything in the kitchen area without having your first cup of coffee drunk. Mrs Aks said that men shouldn’t be in the kitchen to begin with.

Mrs. Aks is my kind of woman! I agree with her sentiment about men in the kitchen...

My question though is how come most of the chefs in the world are men??

I guess a commercial kitchen is different than a home kitchen...men don't belong in a HOME kitchen...

just kidding...actually ceramic tile floors are the problem...they are too
unforgiving for use in a kitchen...

Don't feel bad...after this morning, I'm no longer allowed any beverages of any kind in the den near the computer.
