John dies at the end-Bizarre horror/comedy by Don Coscarelli, Director of The Phantasm film from the 70's. Two thumbs up. Has to be seen to be believed.

White House Down, I saw it Tuesday evening, not half bad if you forgive the terrible lines in the movie; made for a fun thrill ride. This was a movie, I hadn't any intentions of seeing, but went decided to go with my movie group at the last minute, glad I did. Not a great work of art by a long shot, but pure dumb fun.

Much Ado About Nothing and it was really good! Also a nice excuse to get out of my HOT house and into a COLD theater. We're having a heatwave...

Byzantium by Neil Jordan. Odd enough, when you read most of the reviews, those that like it really never say why it's good besides the most vague things - to me it was a waste.

Watched "Side Effects", and "A Good Day to Die Hard" last evening.
Enjoyed "Side Effects" more than I thought I would, but "Die Hard" was underwhelming. This series of sequels may have run it's course, or they at least need better scripts.
