Watched a Nigerian movie called Garden of Roses. There are two parts. It's a GOOD movie, with twists and turns like crazy. I love watching movies of other cultures. This movie is pretty much Westernized, but it's still nice to see their architecture, scenery, the handsome/beautfiful actors, and hear their dialect. They dressed pretty well in this movie, too (kind of flashy: my taste. )

The U.S. has Hollywood. India has Bollywood. Nigeria has Nollywood.

We saw it last week. It was fun.

Not sure I can watch "the Conjuring". I just can't watch scary movies about ghosts any more.

Dear lord, I just watched the preview... the phone rang during it, scaring me & made me screech out loud. When the SO heard me, he said, 'Please stop watching those kinds of movies. You jump out of your skin for days.'

Of course, because he's right, I told him he must have me confused with a baby & a scaredy-cat, who is obviously not me then he reminded me that I haven't been in the laundry room for days (btw, it's the Witches Room, not laundry room ) because I kind of, sort of, thought I might have heard some scratching or walking or falling noise coming from there, while I was trying to fold clothes & watch a creepy crime documentary. The clothes have been abandoned there since Wed & I've no intention of rescuing them 'til he's home in daylight hours & can walk in first to fight off the ghouls & mummies, which we both know are there, yet he refuses to admit it.

The pic on the movie poster alone creeps me out. The previews are scary. I may give it a try once it's on DVD. If I see it in the theatre, I'm afraid the kids will laugh at me when I bolt from the theatre with my jacket over my head.

It does look good, however.

I saw Rocky Balboa 1,2,3 lately and have to say it was glad me very much. I like common fellow Rocky. He urged me to become stronger. His wife is so funny, her modesty looks very nicely. And then, the simple life of simple people was shown with these movies.
