Why not force anyone collecting unemployment to get it as well?
What’s the punishment? The vaccine is free. Anyone can walk into their local pharmacy and get vaccinated.

Not so much a punishment but seems unfair that working people are the only ones who fall under this mandate.

There's a lot of noise about how this alone is "overreach", even though it's indirect through OSHA, and allows employers to require testing as an alternative. I would imagine that expanding to the self-employed and unemployed would create an even bigger furor.

The policy is not about science or safety. Postal workers are exempt. Biden.is full of it. You people should be mad this does not apply to postal workers but you ignore the hypocrisy this is to distract you from his abosolute failure in Afghanistan.

Ridiculous. Good luck. It's also too little too late.

How on earth can one conflate Covid, which has been a public health crisis since Feb 2020, with Afghanistan, which has been a 20-year engagement? Most of us can compartmentalize and see those two issues in their own light. Meaning, I'm willing to be critical of failures on the latter, while cheering on success & strong measures on the former.

Right but neighboring countries in the region can be as high as that. Finland I think. Regardless it is not similar to the USA

It does sort of reek of some political consultant suggesting this to change the subject. I have no idea if the Government can actually mandate the vaccine. That's basically what this is.

OSHA never had that power before. This video is also a good analysis. If all the cops and truck drivers and medical people went on strike from this tyranny the government would be brought to it's knees. Look at the YouTube comments on this video... Some are ready to take up arms... Violence is not the answer a massive strike is.... https://youtu.be/ymBM0eqkTrc

So you're saying that an ICU nurse or hospitalist/pulmonary specialist who is overwhelmed working 60+ hours per week with COVID-19 cases is going to go on strike because the Federal government wants people to get vaccinated? You've totally lost touch with reality. Get a grip.
