I made a nine by thirteen cardamom honey balsamic rhubarb cake with walnuts and cream cheese frosting and was busy for quite a while making a pound of candied ginger. Also made a bowl of hummus.
The cake is an old depression recipe from my MIL and I "dress it up."
Whaaaaat? That sounds unlike any cake I have tried! Well, obviously you like it if you're making it - is it reminiscent of any other cake you've tried?
Spiced turkey patties, lemon sauce, couscous, roasted veggies. Gotta work bok choy in there somewhere, it's starting to bolt.

Tonight we are having "week in review". I have so many leftovers that it doesn't make sense to cook. We have brisket, ribs, sausage, potato salad, fajitas rice and beans, Mac and cheese, squash casserole, and apple pie for dessert!

Love your name for it!
If it's Wednesday, it's soup day (although not for much longer!! ). Leftover Progresso creamy chicken noodle soup with lots of veggies added. It was fine, but, you know, it's canned soup.
TOMORROW I will be making smoky harissa chicken for the first time in a few months (I got I think 5 servings out of that meal -- it froze beautifully). I suspect I will like tomorrow's dinner more than I liked tonight's, LOL!
Breaded eggplant - prepared from frozen and pan-fried, layered with provolone cheese and tomato/basil sauce... spinach/spring mix/mushrooms/balsamic dressing. A 20-minute dinner and not bad at all.
