Bought a whole chuck roll. … cutting that into a few items - chuck eye steaks
Good size chuck roast .. for the smoker for pulled beef and some boneless beef ribs
The rest grind into burger
I have a seasoned (with my own mix) pork shoulder in the crock pot. It will be enough to spread over the next several days. I'll make some of my coleslaw (sugar-free of course) and maybe some brussels sprouts. Not sure on that one yet. It's going to be a very warm weekend and I don't want to heat the house up much so a crock pot meal seems like a good choice.
Żurek. Made out of fermented rye and cooked with garlic, sausage and bacon. Served with hard boiled egg and boiled potatoes.
The soup is hardy enough to suffice as a main dish. It was served in an edible bread bowl.
Never saw anything like that. With my luck the bowl would let all that stuff out.

Nah. The crust is sturdy enough to hold the liquids till you finish the soup
The liquids are usually a bit thicker than a broth. Like clam chowder, potato soup, broccoli cheddar soup, or corn chowder for instance.
Thank you! - you as well as others here are always making such nice dishes, you are inspiring me to want to eat healthier and more interesting - raise my game :-)
I would like to believe that's the purpose of those threads. Description and/or pictures are always appreciated.
I made many dishes inspired by food presented on this forum (also What's for breakfast/lunch threads).
I went out for lunch and had a haddock sandwich. It was huge so the leftovers will be dinner.
