BBQ baby back ribs and fresh coleslaw with cabbage and carrots from our garden.

And using DUKE's mayo for the dressing

The plan is to make a new recipe - creamy chicken pesto. It’s got sautéed chicken, heavy cream, white wine, garlic, basil, and a little bit of jarred pesto. Not sure what I’ll serve with it. Im a big rice eater but I think wide noodles might be better with this. Fresh green beans too.

Quarterly meat shopping today. Three more pork loins to deal with. Chicken stock is in the crock pot. A big batch of sugo is next.

Honey/Jalapeno chicken with basmati for dinner. I love to see SO enjoy dinner. Sriracha peppers do a nice job for heat and I add red bell pepper for vegetables.
Fridge went out yesterday so we did not get salad greens. Threw a spinner full out last night. There was no room left in coolers/beer fridge. Well, SO will survive with a smile and I have plenty of garden cucumbers and tomatoes.
It is too hot to grill!

Make your own pizza night. I put out Trader Joe rectangle crust, sauce, shredded pizza cheese mix, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, pepperoni, kalamatas and sliced portabellas. They can mix and match to their hearts content.

New England Fishmongers in Kittery, Maine - just over the NH border. Had their scallop chowder, which was outstanding, and the "classic fish sandwich", which was also excellent - "Fried local haddock, on a grilled brioche bun topped with cabbage, oil-cured tomato and remoulade."

In coastal New England, fish places are everywhere, but at this unassuming place, everything is above the norm, and it should be a lot more crowded than it usually is!

No new recipe after all. My husband got stressed because the store isn’t carrying his favorite pop anymore lololol. I couldn’t spring an untested recipe on him! He picked up pizza from over where we used to live. Good crust!
