Forecast lows for tomorrow. I can't believe we're done with 30s in April this year. Maybe.. we'll see. Definitely done with freezes and frosts. Usually we have them once in May at least...not this year. Maybe...we'll see. lol

How can anyone not like today over yesterday. What a relief!

Latest GFS12z data sums it up for the region. Ups & Downs without any decent rain till next week. Saturday keeps getting less. Next good chance is with the front next week but that's 7 days away.

We start warming up Friday, get very warm again Sunday then start cooling down and chilly mid week to following weekend then start warming up again.

I don't. It's too chilly today. 62 degrees with 20mph gusts is too cool. At least give me some 70s!

Yeah, I don't mind 70s as long as its dry. 60s is nice to do things outside without swatting bugs and sweating much.

================

Hartford, Albany, Syracuse & Rochester had the warmest Average Max temp on record for the May 1-12 period.

80°+ Max average beginning of May??

Bridgeport was 3rd warmest with their max temps and 2nd warmest with the lows.

Interesting how for a change the highs stand out more than unusually high lows (i.e. only a couple of locations were #2 for that and none were #1). I think they dryness of this "heat wave" (i.e. the "desert like" conditions for much of it) may be the reason.....

yeah, dryness had to contribute for sure... maybe clearer skies too?

Check out the post from the weather forum regarding those stats.

North Carolina had a cooler Avg Max temp then Hartford, Albany and Syracuse.

A look at the latest Frost and Freeze Alerts in the Northeast for tonight.

Current temps.

Chicopee, MA hit the freezing mark.
Bridgeport only at 49.
Danbury 40

I'm at 46 (as usual about in the middle of BDR and DXR)
