Last I heard 1 death and 80,000 homes and businesses without power. Posted few more pics in the thread.

Back in our home state... More birds singing this morning. Wow I forgot the sound of spring. Lol

Most homes in Oklahoma don't have basements, either. Something to do with their clay soil, high water table, ledge etc. I lived in Oklahoma for several years, and lived through several tornadoes myself. I agree that mobile homes are unsafe regardless, but that's all some people can afford down there.

Models continue to hint at an interesting Easter Weekend.

Canadian, GFS & Euro showing strong storm

I do see warmups now! But cold shots as well. Instead of March being the up & down month, I think April will be. More 50s of course.

And it does snow in April. Last time NYC got snow in April was 2003 with 4". Before that was 2000.

Last year it snowed but only a trace. I got a T on the 15th and 0.10" to stick on the 15th.

How are those constantly talked about 50s for days working out for you? LOL!!

There's actually more 50s in NH then CT.

Gotta be careful this time of year with the warm hype. 50s maybe for couple hours. Rain and clouds making it hard to pass mid 40s!

It's a SOUTH wind coming over 34 degree water. The warm air mass coming is being moderated and made cooler. It's going to take a LONG time to warm up for us. The ocean has to warm up first. The ocean temps around us are at mid winter levels.

The 70's come in later April.. not now..the mid range forecast (reliable) keeps it pretty cool.
