Euro Data for Danbury, CT. I'm in love with the area I boxed out. Temps are good too. Looks like little clouds, so will be Sunny and dry with 60s Wednesday to Saturday.

SouthEast ridge tries to rebuild again and you can see we might warm up from Memorial day onwards.

Today could be warmest day till June but models hinting at 1 day next week being similar.
Looking forward to Saturday now.

As much as I wouldn't mind personally... Lets hope this doesn't happen for farmers and home gardeners sake..

Saturday morning looks to be the coldest morning till next fall...maybe? Not sure it will get this cold though. Doubt it.

Knock Knock... Who's at the backdoor? ... A cold front. Philly is not letting them in yet.

Current 11am temps

85°F in Philly. 69° in Trenton, NJ.
50s on Long Island and MA capes. Surface winds right off the Atlantic.

Bridgeport not reporting for some reason. 59 at New Haven. Chilly morning without Sun

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOUNT HOLLY NJ
1044 AM EDT MON MAY 18 2015

A BACKDOOR FRONT MOVING SOUTHWESTWARD THROUGH THE REGION WILL
STALL TODAY.

THE FORECAST CHALLENGES INCLUDE THE LOW CLOUDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DEVELOPING ONSHORE FLOW AND THE CONVECTIVE INITIATION AND COVERAGE. THE BACKDOOR COLD FRONT IS PUSHING THROUGH THE NORTHERN HALF OF NEW JERSEY AND NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA AS NOTED BY THE NORTHEAST WIND SHIFT. WITH THE WIND SHIFT COMES THE LOWERING OF DEWPOINTS BUT ALSO A STABLE MARINE LAYER WITH SOME FOG AND STRATUS. CURRENTLY THE STRATUS IS JUST TO THE NORTHEAST OF TRENTON BUT HAS ENVELOPED MOST OF NE NJ AREA AS IT LAGS SEVERAL MILES BEHIND THE FRONT.

Thursday morning looks cold

Maybe frost around. NWS has 30s for Northern Fairfield County and Litchfield and parts of New Haven, Middlesex and New London. Yikes. I might cover my pepper plants since they already have flowers and pods on them.. (usually June I get them)

If it holds a nasty thunderstorm cell will enter Litchfield County by 7pm. They just took the warning off it so maybe its weakening.

Not that often we go over 3 weeks without rain in New England. in fact... BDL is in the Top 10 this year

23 days without precip stopped few days ago.

Longest streak between 1/2" rain was in 2001. 87 days.. So September 21 they got 1/2"+ of rain, then had to wait until December 17th to get that again. Wow
