Nasty today. Very humid. I gave in and closed my windows and running the a/c for a little bit to get the humidity down a bit. Had humidity reading of 72 inside just a bit ago.

I LOVE the humidity! It's great. It feels nice. As long as it doesn't go above 90 air temp, it feels comfy to me and I like dewpoints in the 70s. Summer is coming!

Wow! I'm showing 58% upstairs and 65% in the kitchen (which is probably getting some residual from the basement). 78 in the house, 79 outside. It's gorgeous! The only thing better would be if I were outside instead of at my desk

Watering garden and A/C kicking on like its July.

Good news... Relief from Summer is coming.
Bad news, it's a Dry Cold front.

Practically no rain on the map currently but I see the front! 2pm and in the 50s and 60s in Ohio. WOW that sounds good. It's MAY for crying out loud.

And it did happen! Apparently, a truck caught fire in the northbound truck lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike around Exit 13 in the Linden/Elizabeth area. The flames and breeze helped ignite some brush nearby. Uh-oh!

Earlier, I had to walk from New Britain's south end to near Camel's Back in Berlin, close to the Amtrak line. The dew point may have dropped to 54 when I got back, but believe me, I felt every bit of the 86 F/30 C air temperature!
