what do you have against vape shops? they aren't a grand entrepreneurial endeavor to you?

Richard--totally hear you. I'm originally from Florida and was blown away when I learned that the "ABC" wasn't the private ABC stores like they have down in the sunshine state, but an actual government institution. On the other hand, it's a big revenue generator for the county I'm sure.

Someone informed me that some construction work has begun across the street from K&W on Arlington blvd on Friday. I will ride by the area this afternoon to see for myself.

Very good news. Will the Southwest bypass be labeled I-587 as well or will that have a different number?

No. The bypass will be signed as NC-11. NC-11's current alignment will become NC-11 Business, IIRC.

I-587 will begin/end at the Stantonsburg Road interchange (Exit 73).

I'm all for adults having a good time. But given ECU's "party school" reputation, having the chancellor hanging out with coeds in a college bar isn't the best look.

I think this would have been a less of an issue if he was at a place like Tiebreakers or OCools or even just hanging out in a more "age appropriate" bar.
