That is our state.
Some are in the state of being conscious and able to grab a hold of the life preserver; and in the analogy that I give, if they sink into the waters (of the river or ocean), they sink down to a level where the lifeguard cannot save them if they be in an unconscious state.

Your analogy is not a biblical one.

For it should be clear that we are saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9) and that we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand (Romans 5:1-2).

Therefore, no faith, no grace, no salvation!

Where does the faith come from? GOD
Where does the grace come from? GOD
Where does the salvation come from? GOD

You should know this.

Nevertheless, some have faith and others don't.

Heb 4:2, For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

This is where the emphasis lies.

Not all are in Christ; but all who are in Christ shall be made alive.

Therefore, that verse does not support Universalism in the slightest.

Try again.
Oh please, stop pretending you are ignorant of basic grammar.

For as in Adam all die, EVEN SO in Christ shall ALL be made alive.

THEREFORE as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; EVEN SO by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Just as you had absolutely nothing to do with what Adam did, you had absolutely nothing to do with what Christ did. By the act of both men we were all affected by what they did.

You did not escape the consequence of what Adam did, EVEN SO, you cannot escape the effect of what Christ did.

You can boast in your faith as much as you want..... God is not impressed.

We enter into Christ...and the grace of Christ...by faith (Romans 5:1-2, Ephesians 2:8-9).

Therefore those who do not have faith in Jesus and what He did for them, are not in Christ...they are in Adam.

Now, think about what 1 Corinthians 15:22 means in light of these facts.

By being born the first time...even of the flesh.

And I entered into Christ by being born again....even through faith in Jesus Christ.

Neither of them verses mention anything about being IN Christ. Both verses tell us what we have access to by faith, again no mention whatsoever of being in Christ.

Obviously your faith is in your own faith. You are boasting in yourself
