Read the analogy again. An unconscious man on the bottom of the swimming pool is going to reach out and grab the life preserver? Is any lifeguard worth his salt going to throw out a life preserver and wait for the unconscious man to grab it?
That is our state.
Some are in the state of being conscious and able to grab a hold of the life preserver; and in the analogy that I give, if they sink into the waters (of the river or ocean), they sink down to a level where the lifeguard cannot save them if they be in an unconscious state.

For it should be clear that we are saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9) and that we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand (Romans 5:1-2).

Not all are in Christ; but all who are in Christ shall be made alive.
Therefore, that verse does not support Universalism in the slightest.

Neither of them verses mention anything about being IN Christ. Both verses tell us what we have access to by faith, again no mention whatsoever of being in Christ.

Obviously your faith is in your own faith. You are boasting in yourself
And I entered into Christ by being born again....even through faith in Jesus Christ.
