How does Florida teach insanity and anger? I'm all ears (or eyes in the case of this site).

For me it would be TN first (Nashville or Knoxville), then SC (Greenville), and then AL dead last (and only Huntsville). If I had to leave GA and pick another Southern state, it would be NC over all of them.

Only the few liberal progressives take that course. They graduate with as a 'Karen'.

Most likely they are an alcoholic or a staunch Republican!

Crazy and angry seems to reliably transcend the expected demographics here in FL, it is a curious phenomenon. It's probably a confluence of myriad factors, though some of those factors are also among the ones that both exist at higher rates and more reliably produce negative externalities. At some point one has to imagine this sort of thing creates a self-perpetuating level of dysfunction. That's the best guess I've come up with in my 17 years here. To be fair, similar phenomenology exists in other states, even if the ingredients in the 'soup' of factors is different. I think FL perhaps seems disproportionately strange because its flavors of angry & crazy aren't as comparatively homogeneous as they are in other states, though that doesn't mean other places aren't as (or more) crazy & angry on the whole.

I had an issue with someone that day is why I wrote that. I was at an outdoor event and a guy I met started
talking politics which showed he was a Republican. But before we had a conversation, he yelled profanity at a young guy who was wanting a petition signed. Later he opens his lunchbox (I thought) and pulls out a beer. By the end of the event, I could not understand much of what he was saying since his words were so slurred. And when he was about to leave all, I said was in a nice way he shouldn't drive and should call a cab. He sent me a very nasty and filthy message from the group, and this upset me then and I still am upset. So, I was venting here.
