You’d be crazy and angry too if you regularly had people doing under half the speed limit on even interstates in the left lane, daily, giving you dirty looks as you pass as if you are the problem in wanting to be punctual and not waste time, etc.

Lighten up Francis. No one drives 35 in the left lane... unless there's a traffic jam. Try leaving earlier, enjoy the ride and play some good tunes.

I did leave earlier, did you miss that, or were you suggesting I leave the day before a shift, although with the way things are going, I might have to actually start doing that soon.

By the way, by your own admission, aren’t you retired? What do you know about commuting in the PRESENT ONGOING TIME? And what do you know about commuting in South Florida at the CURRENT, ONGOING TIME when you live in the TPA metro area, for that matter?

Hard pass, I didn’t invest in a performance vehicle so I could do the opposite of the intended purpose, if I wanted that, I would have gotten a Corolla and saved the money. If you don’t move out of the way, and I can get around you without damaging my car, see you in my rear view. I have things to do, and places to be, I’m not driving to a bingo game from the geriatric center.

Real modest living I see...you're practically a mennonite

For the record, I own a 500 hp SUV, 750 hp turbo AWD vehicle, and also live in South Florida - No need to virtue signal as it appears we have some similarities in vehicle choice and commute behavior. Just own it...I certainly do.

The crazy angry people are leaving in droves all of the sudden...vacationers, Spring Breakers, snow birds...all going back up North...thank God.

Soon, we'll be back to Jimmy Buffet music, and living in Margaritaville again.

The worse thing that happens in the off-season is somebody drinks too much, and falls out of their hammock.

I guess you’re referring to raging at yourself, because I won’t be there for you to rage at. As for chasing me, both ends of my commute are access restricted guarded areas, so I wouldn’t recommend that.

Speaking of Margaritaville, have you been to the Margaritaville (Compass) hotel in Bradenton? I was recently there for a few nights, and it was fabulous!

I also highly recommend The Waterfront for dinner in Anna Maria.

Two places I will definitely be returning to soon.
