What cities after your visit left you disappointed? What cities left you wanting your money back? Please give long thought out answers. Explain why!

Please do not name a city in your own country.

Zurich. Tiny city and expensive as hell, with virtually nothing to see or do given all the money you spend. I don't know, maybe you have to be super rich to enjoy that city.

In the U.S., going to Las Vegas made me wonder why I even bothered. It felt like coming home after watching a really bad movie. Not my cup of tea in the least.

When traveling, when I arrive in any city, the first thing I want to do is get out of it.

San Francisco. I visited the city in August 2011. The weather was just as bad as Oslo's. It was cold, windy and foggy. Downtown Oslo is rarely windy and foggy in the summer but the temperature is generally low. I did not like the numerous and quite agressive homeless people. One nearly scraped our car with his crutch. Another one begged for money inside McDonald's. We had to move upstairs to avoid him. The city is one of the better-looking in the United States. A far cry from the mess of Los Angeles.

Toronto. I think of it as the city of concrete and bad architecture and like so many cities too many homeless.

I tend to agree. I only like Toronto if I dig into the neighbourhoods surrounding the core. The false downtown of it does nothing for me. I like getting into the nitty gritty of it. Then...Toronto is an amazing place.

Zurich: not ugly but not really beautiful to see, other Swiss cities are more beautiful but less famous.
Washington DC: The monument part is OK (Capitolio is amazing) but the streets and the rest of the city doesn't have anything special.
Barcelona: overrated in my opinion, except the Parc Guell and the port area, the rest is not magic and the streets are not very elegant or charming.
Cambridge (UK): I don't know why... but I didn't find it beautiful.
Miami: I expected more "beach and terrase culture" maybe I am very used to Mediterranean summer life, not ugly but I liked more Fort Lauderdale for example.
