Watching that massive storm just to my west, here in MI. Do I trust NOAA which has zero snow on my forecast this week?
I feel like we're hiding. Maybe if we stand very still, the storm won't notice us.

Could be light accumulation down to north Louisiana! Possibly flurries down to my area tomorrow night.

From NWS Shreveport

Quote:
There could be some sheltered accumulations around an inch from
SE OK into parts of south AR and perhaps even into N LA during the
evening before ending shortly after midnight. We may see some
slush on elevated surfaces with air temps barely freezing where
ending, but we will see mid to upper 20s over our western half
for all of east TX and SE OK and parts of SW AR where skies will
be partially clearing before daybreak. Overall, storm impacts
should be isolated with no clear need for wintry advisory at this
point. Otherwise sunny skies will only see highs in the lower 50s
to wrap up the weekend with still breezy NW winds.

Thanks Cambium. I rolled the portable generator out yesterday, tanked it up and plugged it into the big transfer switch input plug on the back of our house. So we’ll have coffee, mini heat, fridge, freezer, microwave, some lights and router/tv (if powerline-hung cable stays up) if the power takes a nosedive out here in the NC countryside! Thanks for all your reporting on the Weather forum. Stay safe and warm, all.

We generally have 2-3.5" in the Kansas City area. The forecasts were pretty good. Now the day is just cold and windy.
