47f expected low here on Monday, but a decent chance of it rising to 50f+
Possible chance of a 0 low for dallas on the same day(not counting wind-chill). 50f difference in temps is possible; Just bonkers.
Hi, chicagogeorge. Is this the worst you've ever seen it in texas?
This is making me wish the Hudson Bay wasn't there. No Hudson Bay = more landmass in the subarctic = more land for a cold wave to build up directly to our north.
Texas getting large areas of sub-zero F / -18 C temps down to 33 degrees north whereas I'm north of 36 and probably only going to get teens / about -10 C.
See it? Not the best spot for the Vortex for the Northeast to get extreme cold but definitely no warmth coming up with it there. It's pushing south now and will touch the border then curl off to the East NorthEast
We are 16f this morning, we dodged much of the ice which went to our east. The freezing fog has left everything outside bright white and still snow left on the ground from Saturday. High today is 26f.
Forecast now has us down to 0 Sunday night and -4 Monday night with a high Monday of only 8. This will break a record.
