The state of Tennessee has some interesting and perhaps unusual variation today. It's 30 degrees in Memphis, it's 72 degrees in Pulaski. Somewhere in Middle Tennessee you hit a wall of cold air.

Keep us posted on any records that happen. I been busy with work to check stuff. Thanks
That’s why it’s better to be in Florida for warmth during winter. Texas is in the middle of the country which allows the cold to dig down easier. We have the ridge in the east coast which protects us from the cold air masses, which moderate a lot by the time they reach the east coast. Even NY will be warmer than Corpus Cristi next week, which doesn’t happen very often.

63F today in the East Bay (25 miles E of San Francisco), supposed to get 1/3 of an inch of rain tomorrow with highs in the upper 50s. Overnight lows low 40s all week. Flowers are staring to bloom and feeling very fortunate to be missing the cold. As a New England native, I don't want, need, or want to hear about winter.

It was flat out nasty today with a 84f for a high and nasty dew points. This is the new normal for Feb as the last two were blazing above normal and dry. This Feb is not even close to Feb 2019 on the heat as that one won't be beat for another 12 years. That one was insane with upper 80's.

I think our 'winter' is done.
It's over for good. Just be lucky we had more cool weather in Dec and Jan than the last 6 winters put together. But has been record dry. Worst i have seen for years.

Only way you would see them temps like that is if you moved the planet 12.33 million miles out from the sun from where it is now. Just never gonna happen for days at a time. I can see a day here or there maybe.
