We got a dumping of snow last Wednesday, about 7" overnight. As of this morning, almost a week later, it's all still here. The forecast every single day since then has been a huge bust. We haven't gotten near the forecasted highs, sometimes as much a 10-15 degrees below.
Today's forecast says sunny and 48f, which if true will finally melt the snow.
The one major problem with the cold predicted for later January is that the PNA is forecasted to move back into solidly negative territory (SE ridge could be an issue), yet again #$%# We can't catch a break, even with the NAO and AO staying negative.
Cold rain yesterday. Taken all day for clouds to clear up today. Was supposed to clear up quickly but like last week it was very stubborn. In fact even at 5 there are still plenty of low clouds.
Getting tired of winter, ready for my trip to the FL Keys. We aren't getting any real cold blasts but no real mild or even warm days.
