Madrid may end as the biggest snowfall on record there

Meanwhile, on the US side, it may snow in Austin, Tx tomorrow.

It looks like Fort Worth Texas will see it’s first measurable snowfall in years Sunday.......The national weather service is saying one to three inches are possible in my area of North Texas.......

Clouds have been extremely stubborn. Was supposed to be partly cloudy by noon and basically clear. It's still mostly cloudy though I've seen peaks of sun. Meanwhile just to the east it's clear. Stuck in the upper 30s here but upper 40s where it's sunny. Another example of the Appalachians actually affecting the wx by quite a bit

Winter storm watches across TX and north LA. Right now it appears most of the snow will be to my north; I look kind of borderline - should get something but might not be much. Hopefully it shifts southward some.

Malta had its warmest January day on record today, with Luqa Airport reaching 25.8C.

Impressive as it smashed the previous record high by 3.6C & it was mostly cloudy with some light rain showers. Had it been a sunny day it likely would have gone even higher.

Wow that is impressive, I’m jealous due to our consistent 40F/5C highs. The warmest winter day here in NYC that I can remember was when we hit 78F/26C in February of 2018, a few inland areas hit 80. Surprising that it’s so warm in Malta considering Spain just had a huge amount of snow and cold. Real Madrid got stuck in hotel: https://espndeportes.espn.com/futbol...-nieve-aumenta

Wow impressive, was it on the other side of the cold front affecting Spain?
