Winter storm watches across TX and north LA. Right now it appears most of the snow will be to my north; I look kind of borderline - should get something but might not be much. Hopefully it shifts southward some.
Upgraded to Warnings in Texas. Hope you see some snow!
Wow that is impressive, I’m jealous due to our consistent 40F/5C highs. The warmest winter day here in NYC that I can remember was when we hit 78F/26C in February of 2018, a few inland areas hit 80. Surprising that it’s so warm in Malta considering Spain just had a huge amount of snow and cold. Real Madrid got stuck in hotel: https://espndeportes.espn.com/futbol...-nieve-aumenta
Wow impressive, was it on the other side of the cold front affecting Spain?
Basically. Malta would have been in the warm air and the low pressure system would move along the polar or arctic front, with Madrid to the north, Malta & Barcelona to the south. That's the way snowstorms work.
Meanwhile here in the Phoenix area we will be approaching 80 degrees on Friday
