Summer: August, September, October (more likely to see 80's and 90's as highs)
Fall: November, December, January (changeable patterns mostly 60's and 70's though)
Winter: February, March, April (typical rainy season begins in February and always a late season storm in March and April, temps in 60's but even 50's sometimes common during storms)

You are more likely to see precip in the Feb through April period than the November through January period and you are more likely to see summer heat in the August through October period.

The Bay Area is more following of typical weather patterns although SF has a delayed summer and fall.

Edmonton's average high for first two weeks of May 2018 was 20.8°C/69°F.

First two weeks of April was -2.4°C so about a 40°F warm up over a month.

Thanks! I see some wind damage reports. Not looking forward to it. I hope the marine layer does its thing.
