Yesterday was the earliest 90°F at LEX since 1952. The last two OBS have been 89°, so we may have hit again today.

Just got back. My station only caught a peak gust of 57mph. Must of been straight line winds.

Potatoes are down as well as 2 heavy branches.

Watch the temps drop from 80s/90s to 60s as the storms roll through. Look at all those damage reports too.

That looks like quite a powerful line of storms

High was 71F/22C at ORD and IKK, 69F/21C at MDW. Clouds have cleared .

Cooler by the lake bit well into the 80s everywhere else this week

That was super underwhelming but with a nice shelf cloud and deep thunder. Only 0.09” fell despite being under the “red” on radar, fast moving storms.

Got into the 90’s in NYC, I drove through there earlier with a broken A/C. My high was only 77. Also, I was so close to having my first 70 degree dew point today, but it maxed out at 68.

Wished i had that line. Not a drop of rain for me today. Just inland of me got some. I am in the shadow line with perfect clear skies. This happens all the time when we have any kind of flow just west of south or south west. Since i am right on the gulf the showers miss us day after day while just a few miles inland gets rain.

Thunder recorded for the first time since April 14 today, with isolated t-storms in the area. Had a shower where I work, but didn't see any rain in my gauge.

Got up to 93F today, and 94F yesterday which tied the previous record.

I can relate. Not uncommon for Long Island to be in a drought while New Jersey floods. Central Park averages 8 more inches of precipitation than JFK (coastal), and they’re both in NYC.
