Only people on this forum do. I have never met people who really like these kinds of conditions. Most people like normal weather that doesn't affect their lives.

As of 1PM EST, the current temperature in Athens, GA is 70°F, making this the the warmest day in January, and also the only 70°F day in January. So far, today is the warmest day since December 19, when the temperature reached 72°F (the only 70°F day in December). If the temperature goes higher than 72°F today, then this will be the warmest day in Athens since November 7 (84°F). Today is only the sixth 70°F day since then, joining November 16 (71°F), November 18 (70°F), November 29 (70°F), November 30 (72°F) and December 19 (72°F).

Just reached 70F (21C) here for the first time this month. Dewpoint of 62F (17C) and overcast. Maybe a squall line early tomorrow morning with a frontal system coming. Marginal severe risk.

First tornado watch of 2018 has just been issued. Threat for some semi-discrete supercells over the next few hours, and squall line should form later.

Which side of the Upper Low would you want to be on tonight? Southeast side or Northwest side?

Nasty evening in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri with Squall lines & Tornado warnings.
Meanwhile heavy snow rates on the northwest side.

Current Alerts.. Large area with Blizzard Warnings & Tornado Watches
