Currently here in Aurora, ME...-8F Degrees, Dewpoint -15F Degrees, Winds W15mph, Windchill -29F...Windy and snowing....Forecasted High today 0, Low -15....

Not looking forward to repairing our mailbox in this cold a weather! The pole is still out there, but it needs to be reattached! I'm not surprised that the Plowtruck Drive hit it...The weather on the 4th was a white-out! Just thankful he didn't hit something big, like a power pole! I'm sure we all have heard stories about our local Plowtruck Drivers!
Needlesstosay, thankful for another day off from work and the electricit is still on!

We have the avg temps come up in most areas over the last 35 years. My area has had the hottest years just the last few years. It has warmed up so much since 1990 in my area and the last 7 years have been insane with the rapid warm up and freaky rain events that bring us 30" in a few weeks time back in the summer of 2015, 24" in a months time last year in the summer of 2016 and over 20" in a months time this last summer in Aug and part of Sept. Then go weeks and months with no rain and almost everyday over the last 3 years has been above normal on temps

Something is very wrong. The temps we had this week was no where near close to the super freezes we had in the 80's and or 2010. This is the first we had a string of days with highs in the 50's since 2010 and we have not been below 32 in my area since 2010.

I would hate it out there. Weather is just as boring as my weather, minus we get a hurricane every 15 years or so. It would be like sticking in my head in a oven with temps over a 105 and super dry dew points. Think i would rather deal with my reverse west windflow with temps 94 and dew points near 80.

I like Florida too. I was thinking of buying in Tampa/St Petersburg and have that as a second home. I have a house in San Antonio but that is for investment. I don't think that I will move out there.

You can buy homes all day in my area for under 60k. Homes that were selling for 600k can't even move for under 250k as Ins cost so much in my area. West Pasco has the highest Ins prices. I would just hate dry heat.
